NBC Sports Group's MLS Cup Playoffs coverage continues with the second leg of the Western Conference Semifinals between the Portland Timbers and Seattle Sounders Thursday at 11 p.m. ET on NBCSN.
The top-seeded Western Conference Portland Timbers host the three-time Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Champions Seattle Sounders FC at Jeld-Wen Field in Portland, Ore. The Timbers lead the two-game series after a 2-1 win over the rival Sounders in the first leg of the semifinals. It was the Timbers' first-ever MLS Cup Playoff game.
The Conference Semifinals are a two-game series with home-and-away games and an aggregate-goal format. The team that scores the most goals in the home-and-away series advances to the Conference Finals.
COMMENTATORS:
NBC Sports Group's lead soccer play-by-play announcer Arlo White will call Portland-Seattle on Thursday. White will be joined by former U.S. Men's National Team midfielder and analyst Kyle Martino and host Russ Thaler.
