A LOOK AT THE MATCHUPS
Fighting out of Houston, Jermell Charlo is the identical twin of current super welterweight titleholderJermall Charlo. A tall fighter for his division, the 25-year-old delivered consecutive unanimous decision victories over Gabriel Rosado, Charlie Ota and Mario Lozano last year. Earlier this year, he delivered one of his most impressive victories to date, beating highly-ranked Vanes Martirosyan in March.
A veteran of the sport for more than 15 years, Joachim Alcine is unbeaten in his last three bouts. The 39-year-old won a title in 2007 with a victory over previously unbeaten Travis Simms, and defended his title against Alfonso Mosquera. Born in Haiti, Alcine owns a victory over David Lemieux and most recently fought to a split-draw decision with Delvin Rodriguez in May 2014.
25-year-old Tony Harrison recorded a 10-fight KNOCKOUT streak before dropping his last bout to Willie Nelson. The Detroit-native looks to bounce back with a win Saturday against Cecil McCalla. Harrison's last three victories have come against Pablo Munguia, Antwone Smith and Tyrone Brunson.
McCalla entered 2015 on a 20-fight win streak, but he has lost both of his bouts this year. He looks to bounce back from a loss against Ishe Smith in April. The 30-year-old fights out of Baltimore, Maryland.
