MEET THE PRESS WITH CHUCK TODD was the #1 most-watched Sunday show in the key A25-54 demo this past Sunday, delivering a win with 1.015 million viewers.
MTP topped CBS' "Face the Nation" - which only rates for the first 30 minutes of its hour-long broadcast - by seven percent (+65,000) and ABC's "This Week" by +11 percent (+103,000).
This marks the twelfth straight week of MTP leading the demo that news advertisers value most. MTP has consistently beaten the competition by double-digits, leading
ABC for 11 of the past 12 weeks and
CBS for eight of the past 11 weeks both shows aired.
3.669 million total viewers tuned into MTP this past Sunday, eight percent more than ABC's "This Week." MTP also grew across the board compared to the same Sunday last year: one percent among total viewers and six percent among A25-54 viewers.
In the influential Washington, D.C. market of newsmakers, MTP continued to dominate as the most-watched Sunday show, outperforming the combined deliveries of
CBS and
ABC in total viewers and the key demo. This past Sunday was MTP's 79th straight broadcast win.
An additional 697,000 total viewers and 173,000 demo viewers watched MTP through rebroadcasts on MSNBC.
Programming note: "Meet the Press" will air at its regularly scheduled times this coming Sunday (Christmas Day) and the following Sunday (New Year's Day).
