On Friday, May 10 at 9pm/8c, NBC's "Dateline" will give viewers an in-depth look into one of the most-followed murder trials in recent years. "Dateline" will devote an hour to telling the full story of the Jodi Arias case, the 32-year-old Arizona woman who admitted to killing her former boyfriend, Travis Alexander. "Dateline" will provide new details and interviews surrounding Arias's obsession with Alexander, her four-month long trial, and the country's fascination with the torrid relationship that ended in murder.

"Dateline" correspondent Josh Mankiewicz sits down with Aaron Dewey, a friend of Jodi Arias's who reveals intimate details about the Early Stages of the couple's relationship. Dewey says that, "Aside from physical chemistry that was already there, there seemed to be a lot of emotional chemistry as well." In regards to Arias's emotional behavior in the courtroom, Dewey describes her as, "A chameleon [who would] adapt to whatever situation she was in."

Mankiewicz also spends time with Ryan Burns, a friend who saw Arias soon after she fatally shot and stabbed Travis Alexander. Burns tells Mankiewicz that Arias was "Laughing about simple little things ... [and] seemed totally into the moment."

Obsession: The Jodi Arias Story will provide viewers with the story of the evolution of Jodi Arias, her bizarre behavior throughout her trial, and what exactly went on inside the Arizona courtroom that ultimately decided her fate.
