NBC presents 2013 Skate Canada International coverage this Sunday at 4 p.m. ET featuring performances from the men's and ladies' free skate competition from Harbour Station in St. John, New Brunswick in Canada. Coverage is highlighted by NBC analysts, former Olympic figure skaters Johnny Weir and Tara Lipinski.
Highlighting the field for Team USA are three-time U.S. champion and Vancouver Olympian Jeremy Abbott, 2013 National silver medalist Ross Miner, 2013 U.S. silver medalist Gracie Gold and rising teen competitor Courtney Hicks. The men's international competition includes reigning three-time World champion and six-time Canadian champion Patrick Chan, 2013 Japanese National champion Yuzuru Hanyu and 2010 Vancouver Olympian Nobunari Oda, also from Japan. The ladies' international Contest includes 2013 Canadian National champion Kaetlyn Osmond, 2010 Vancouver Olympian and 2012 World bronze medalist Akiko Suzuki of Japan. COMMENTATORS: Terry Gannon will call the action alongside analysts Johnny Weir, a two-time Olympian and three-time U.S. champion, and Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski.
