Saturday Primetime Results:
"Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" (0.9/4 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night and #1 in its two-hour time period on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key measures. From its first hour to its second, "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" grew by +25% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.0 rating from a 0.8), by +30% in adults 25-54 (1.3 vs. 1.0) and by +34% or 1.3 million persons in total viewers (5.1 million vs. 3.8 million).
"Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" matched NBC's highest adult 18-49 rating in the slot, excluding sports in 21 months (since Sept. 15, 2012). Versus its prior telecast on June 14, "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery" grew by +13% in 18-49 rating (to a 0.9 from a 0.8).
A rebroadcast of Wednesday's premiere of "Taxi Brooklyn" (0.5/2 in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET.)matched NBC's top non-sports rating in the time period since a "Saturday Night Live" encore ran in the slot on May 17. In total viewers, the 2.8 million is NBC's biggest overall audience in the hour, excluding sports, since that same May 17 "SNL" rebroadcast.
Despite the 10 p.m. hour, the "Taxi Brooklyn" encore maintained its rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (0.5 vs. 0.5) and adults 25-54 (0.6 vs. 0.6).
In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday Night:
An encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Melissa McCarthy and musical guest Imagine Dragons, averaged a 2.3/6 in household results in Nielsen's 56 metered markets and a 0.9/4 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters, tying it as the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in 18-49 in the Local People Meters with "Dateline Saturday Night Mystery," ahead of all other Primetime programs on those networks in 18-49.
