NBC has won the November 2014 sweep in adults 18-49, marking the network's third consecutive November win. It's the longest November streak for NBC since the network won four in a row from 2000 through 2003.
According to "live plus same day" results through 25 of the month's 28 nights (Oct. 30 through Sunday Nov. 23),
NBC ranks #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, as well as adults 18-34, adults 25-54 and all key adult-male demos.
Despite a series of one-sided "Sunday Night Football" games this month that led to a 7.1 average rating for the #1 series on broadcast television versus its 8.6 in November 2013,
NBC is virtually matching its total-viewer sweep average of one year ago (8.247 million vs. 8.232 million), is running within 0.3 of a point of its November 2013 result in adults 18-49 (2.3 vs. 2.6, with the drop down to 0.1 when Sundays are excluded) and is within 0.2 in adults 25-54 (2.9 vs. 3.1).
With an average of 8.2 million viewers through 25 nights both this year and last,
NBC has delivered its two most-watched November sweeps in the last seven years (since 2007, 8.5 million).

Among Big 4 regular schedules,
NBC has three of the top five lineups in adults 18-49 during the November sweep, with the five highest-rated regular schedules being NBC's Sunday (averaging a 6.0 rating), NBC's Monday (3.0), ABC's Thursday (2.8) and ABC's Wednesday (2.2) tied with NBC's Tuesday (2.2).
For the November sweep to date, "Sunday Night Football" is the #1 primetime series on the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and also ranks #1 in total viewers, adults 18-34, adults 25-54, all key adult-male demos, women 18-34, women 18-49, teens 12-17 and kids 2-11.
Joining "Sunday Night Football" in the November sweep Top 30 among primetime Big 4 series are Monday's "The Voice" (#4), Tuesday's "The Voice" (tied for #7), Monday's "The Blacklist" (tied for #12), Monday's "State of Affairs" (tied for #18). Tuesday's "Chicago Fire" (tied for #22) and Wednesday's "Law & Order: SVU" (tied for #30). Rankings exclude sports pre- and post-game shows.
Among the
NBC primetime series generating year-to-year growth during the November sweep are "Chicago Fire" (up +5%, to a 2.1 from a 2.0), "Laws & Order: SVU" (up +19%, 1.9 vs. 1.6) and "Dateline NBC" (up +27%, 1.4 vs. 1.1).
For the first nine weeks of the 2014-15 television season,
NBC ranks #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and is also #1 or tied for #1 among those networks in adults 18-34, adults 25-54, men 18-34 and men 18-49.
In total viewers,
NBC is #2 for the 2014-15 season to date, and up 0.3% versus its year-ago average (9.763 million vs. 9.730 million), for NBC's top total-viewer average at this point in the season in eight years (since 2006, 10.3 million). This season and last mark the first two times
NBC has ranked as high as #2 in total viewers at this point in the season since 2004.
