NBC has won the Primetime week of May 27-June 2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, as well as adults 25-54 and other key demographics, according to "live plus same day" viewing data from Nielsen Media Research. NBC's week was paced by the Monday and Tuesday editions of "The Voice," which tied for #1 among the week's Primetime programs on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and ranked #1 and #2 on those networks in total viewers, adults, men and women 25-54 and other key measures. For the week, NBC averaged a 1.4 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 5.1 million viewers overall.
NBC delivered four of the week's top 10 programs in adults 18-49 on ABC, CBS,
NBC and Fox, with Monday's and Tuesday's "Voice" tying for #1 and Monday's "Revolution" and Wednesday's "Healing in the Heartland" benefit concert tying for #7. Also ranking in the top 30 in adults 18-49 for the week were Tuesday's "Voice" Recap (tied for #13), Wednesday's "Dateline NBC" (tied for #15), Friday's "Dateline" (tied for #17), Saturday's Stanley Cup Playoff Hockey (tied for #25) and Friday's "Rock Center with Brian Williams" (tied for #25).
NBC ranked #1 or tied for #1 on four of seven nights last week in 18-49 among ABC, CBS,
NBC and Fox, ranking #1 outright among those networks on Monday, Friday and Saturday and tying for #1 with
FOX on Tuesday.
NBC matched its 18-49 rating for the same week last year and was up 7 percent in total viewers (to 5.1 million persons from 4.8 million), while the other Big 4 networks were all down versus the same week last year in total viewers.
Primetime averages for the week of May 27-June 2 in adults 18-49 are: NBC, 1.4/4; Fox, 1.3/4; ABC, 1.0/3; CBS, 1.0/3; and CW, 0.3/1. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 5.5 million; NBC, 5.1 million; ABC, 4.2 million; Fox, 3.4 million; and CW, 0.9 million.
Averages for the 2012-13 Broadcast Year to date are: CBS, 2.8/8; Fox, 2.5/7; NBC, 2.3/7; ABC, 2.2/6; and CW, 0.7/2. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 11.6 million; ABC, 7.8 million; NBC, 6.9 million; Fox, 6.9 million; and CW, 1.8 million.

NBC and
FOX in every ratings category and was up week to week in total viewers by 2 percent (11.0 million vs. 10.8 million).
"Revolution" (1.9/5 in adults 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) tied as the #2 show of the night on ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in 18-49 (tied with ABC's season premiere of "Bachelorette," 1.9/5 from 8-10:01 p.m.). In the time period, "Revolution" was #1 among ABC,
CBS and
NBC in every key ratings category and grew week to week in total viewers by 12 percent (6.3 million vs. 5.6 million). "Revolution" matched its top 18-49 rating since May 6 and delivered its biggest overall audiences since April 1.
Note that "Revolution" is a highly time-shifted show, with the May 27 telecast growing by 66 percent when going from these next-day "live plus same day" ratings (1.90) to its "live plus three day" result (3.16), making the Memorial Day telecast the top-rated "Revolution" in "L+3" since April 8. The gain of 1.26 rating points going from L+SD to L+3 was "Revolution's" biggest increase since its fall finale on November 26.
Tuesday:
NBC tied for #1 Tuesday night among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults 18-49 with "The Voice" (3.2/9 in 18-49, 10.8 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) ranking as the #1 program of the night on those networks by a 68 percent margin in 18-49 over the #2 show (3.2 vs. 1.9 for Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance"). "The Voice" won the time period among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in every key demographic. "The Voice" retained 100 percent of the prior week's 18-49 rating and was up 6 percent week to week in total viewers (10.8 million vs. 10.2 million).
From 8-9 p.m. ET, a recap episode of "The Voice" (1.7/5 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall) ranked #2 among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults 18-49 and #1 among those nets in adults 25-54, women 25-54 and women 18-49 (tie).
Wednesday: "Dateline NBC" (1.5/5 in 18-49, 6.8 million viewers overall at 8 p.m. ET) hit season highs for a Wednesday edition in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 (2.0 rating) and total viewers. In total viewers, "Dateline" has grown versus its prior Wednesday edition for the last four telecasts in a row.
"Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert" (1.9/5 in 18-49, 8.4 million viewers overall at 9 p.m. ET) delivered the #1 total-viewer result of the night. "Healing in the Heartland" equaled NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period since January 9 and generated the network's top total-viewer result in
The Hour since that same January 9 date.
A total of 13.2 million viewers watched at least a portion of the "Healing in the Heartland" concert on NBC, Bravo, CMT, E!,
G4 and Style.
NBC finished #2 Wednesday night among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in 18-49 and #1 in total viewers.
Thursday: "Hannibal" (1.0/3 in 18-49 and 2.4 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) matched its 18-49 rating of the prior week. In the time period, "Hannibal" tied for #1 among ABC,
CBS and
NBC in adults 18-34 and was #1 outright among those networks in men 18-34 and men 18-34
"Hannibal" is a highly time-shifted series, with the prior week's telecast growing by 63 percent going from these next-day "live plus same day" ratings (1.04) to "live plus three day" results (1.69). That moved "Hannibal" into the time-period lead among ABC,
CBS and NBC, ahead of ABC's May 23 telecast of "Rookie Blue," which grew by 28 percent going from L+SD (1.22) to L+7 (1.56)..
An encore telecast of "Parks and Recreation" (0.8/2 in 18-49, 1.8 million viewers overall from 9:31-10:01 p.m. ET) was up versus both its "Office" lead-in and the prior week's "Parks" rating by 14 percent in 18-49 rating (0.8 vs. 0.7).
Friday:
NBC won Friday night among ABC, CBS,
NBC and
FOX in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and other key categories, led by the #1 show of the night on those networks, "Dateline NBC" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 6.5 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET). "Dateline" delivered NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the two-hour time period in three months (since March 1) and matched the network's top 18-49 rating in the slot since a December 7 "Saturday Night Live" special (1.5). In total viewers, it's the biggest overall audience in the slot for
NBC since February 15 (6.7 million for "Dateline."
"Rock Center with Brian Williams" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew week to week by 33 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 0.9), by 33 percent in adults 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.2) and 30 percent in total viewers (5.2 million vs. 4.0 million). In total viewers, it's the top "Rock Center" since April 19.
Saturday:
NBC Sports' coverage of the Boston Bruins-Pittsburgh Penguins Stanley Cup Conference Final game (1.2/4 in 18-49, 3.4 million viewers overall from 8-11 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in
