NBC has won the primetime ratings week of Feb. 19-25 among the Big 4 networks in every key ratings category, with coverage of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics accounting for the top 8 primetime broadcasts of the week in adults 18-49 and total viewers, according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research for the week of Feb. 19-25.
Monday through Sunday primetime coverage and a Saturday "Winter Olympic Gala" 10 p.m. telecast delivered the week's top eight rankings among primetime broadcasts in 18-49 and total viewers, and accounted for at least the top 5 in every other key Nielsen measure.
NBC's 18-night primetime average of 17.8 million viewers for the Olympics topped the combined 9.8 million of the competing Big 4 networks ABC, CBS and FOX by +82%, to rank as the most dominant Winter Games on record. The Total Audience Delivery of 19.8 million generated a +102% advantage over the combined Big 4 competition.

Season to date, NBC is also running #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in every other key ratings measure, including total viewers, for the first time since 2001-02. Excluding all sports, NBC is running closer to CBS at this point in the season in total viewers than it's been in 15 years, since 2002-03 (currently within 1.3 million total viewers of CBS excluding sports, best since the gap was 727,000 in 2002-03).
Counting entertainment programming only, NBC leads the season in adults 18-49, and also ranks #1 among the Big 4 in adults 25-54, adults 18-34, men 18-49 (tie) and all key adult-female demos.
