NBC was #1 in total viewers (4.9 million) against the Big 4 networks and tied for #1 in 18-49 (1.0/4). This was NBC's first Monday win in 18-49, or being tied for #1 (excluding sports programming) since May 14.
From 8-10 p.m., "American Ninja Warrior" was up 4% in total viewers from a week ago (5.2 million vs. 5.0 million) and was even in the demo (1.0 in 18-49).
"American Ninja Warrior" saw its demo RISE from 0.9 à 1.1 from 8-10 p.m. and saw its total viewers RISE from 5.0 million à 5.3 million.
From 10-11 p.m., "Dateline NBC" won the timeslot vs. all original competition on ABC and CBS in both the 18-49 demo (0.8), total viewers (4.4 million) and all other key demos. Versus a week ago, "Dateline NBC" grew 14% in the demo (0.7 à 0.8) and 10% in total viewers (4.0 million à 4.4 million).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets (the Phoenix market is currently excluded), household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.7/5; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.4/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.5/3; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
