"The Voice" (2.3/8 in 18-49, 10.3 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET): Wins the time period over "Dancing With the Stars" by a +44% margin in 18-49 (2.3 vs. 1.6), up from last week's +14% edge (2.4 vs. 2.1). Also prevails over "Dancing" in every other key demographic. Is the #1 show of the night in adult 18-49 rating and all other key demos. Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last week's "Voice" grew by +25% going from L+SD Nielsens to L+3 in 18-49 (from a 2.42 rating to a 3.02) and +1.9 million viewers overall (10.7 million to 12.6 million). The 18-49 gain of +0.60 of a point was the night's biggest L+3 lift on the Big 4 networks).
"Taken" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET): Jumps +22% week to week in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 0.9) and +11% in total viewers (5.249 million vs. 4.721 million). Ranks #1 in the slot among ABC,
CBS and
NBC in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 25-54; and total viewers. Leads among those nets by a +38% margin (1.1 vs. 0.8 each for
ABC and CBS). Will add significant viewership via time-shifting and VOD - so far this season, "Taken" has increased by +30% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.41 to a 1.83) and +2.2 million viewers overall (6.7 million to 8.9 million).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.0/5; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.5/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/4 with an encore.
In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/4; "Late Show," 0.4/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.3/2 with an encore.
From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.3/5 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.3/2.
At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
