NBC Wins Friday, DATELINE Is the #1 Show, An AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR Encore Leads the 8-10 p.m. Slot  Image

NBC wins the night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, with "Dateline NBC" ranking as the #1 show of the night on those nets. Note: The NBC station in San Francisco carried Major League Baseball.

"Dateline NBC" (0.7/4 in 18-49, 1.0 in adults 25-54, 3.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):

· Is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

· Wins the timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 and is #1 or tied for #1 among those nets in every other key demographic.

· Grows +17% week to week in 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.6), +11% in 25-54 (1.0 vs. 0.9) and +17% in total viewers (3.763 million vs. 3.230 million).

· Equals the show's high rating since May 18 in 18-49 (0.8)

· Is the #1 newsmagazine of the night in adults 18-49 and 25-54.

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - the prior Friday's "Dateline" increased by +25% in 18-49 (0.63 to 0.79) and +782,000 viewers overall (3.2 million to 4.0 million) going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens.

· Upscale: Friday's "Dateline" is delivering a solid upscale audience, indexing at a 114 among adults 18-49 in $100K+ homes.

An encore telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):

· Wins the timeslot among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 versus competition that included original programming on ABC and Fox.

· Is currently maintaining 100% of last week's rebroadcast in this timeslot in 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.6) and growing +3% in total viewers (2.912 million vs. 2.824 million), to its most-watched encore in this time period among five so far this summer, pending updates.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.9/5; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.5/4 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.3/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/3 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.0/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
