The schedule for the NFL's divisional round is set and NBC UNIVERSO will air the National League matchup between the Green Bay Packers and the Arizona Cardinals, live from University of Phoenix Stadium and presented in Spanish by the experienced René Giraldo and Édgar López tonight, January 16 at 8PM/7C/5P.
Led by quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the Packers demonstrated good command of the ball against Washington in the wildcard round and are out to avenge a 38-8 rout by the Cardinals in Week 16 of the regular season. Rodgers was sacked eight times in that game, advancing Green Bay only 178 yards.
Despite that history, their wildcard win over the Redskins positions the Packers as the best hope to dash the Cardinals'
SUPER BOWL hopes. Green Bay played a spectacular offensive game against Washington, with Rodgers advancing the team 210 yards and generating two touchdowns. When Carson Palmer takes the field as Arizona's starting quarterback for the first time in a playoff game, he and the Cards' defense will need to keep a close eye on Packers running backs Eddie Lacy and James Starks.
Saturday's game will be available on NBCDeportes.com digital platform as well as the
NBC Deportes EN VIVO EXTRA mobile app for tablets but not mobile phones. For
