NBC Deportes presents Week 7 of the Liga MX Torneo Clausura 2016 with León vs. Toluca, tonight, February 20 at 9PM/8C/6P on NBC UNIVERSO and Deportes.com digital platforms. Narrating the game will be Sammy Sadovnik and three-time top Mexican scorer Carlos Hermosillo.
León returns to its home stadium after a successful away game against Chivas in Week 6. The win keeps it in third place in the league standings, just three points behind top-ranked Monterrey, and that gap could close even further if Luis Fernando Tena's men can make the most of their home field advantage to pave the way for their star forward, Argentina's Germán Cano, who has scored three times so far in the tournament.
Toluca has tied its last three games and has only one loss so far this season. The Diablos Rojos have an important motivation in this Saturday's game: ending their losing streak against León, which has won four of their last five encounters and given up just one tie since Week 15 of Clausura 2014, including two matches in the semifinals. Toluca has a formidable scorer of its own, Enrique Triverio, also from Argentina. He has scored four times in the last six weeks, including three goals in a row.
