NBC UNIVERSO, the modern entertainment and sports cable channel for Latinos, announces the return of its exclusive, multi-platform telecast of "Festival Internacional de Viña del Mar 2016," Latin America's largest and longest-running music festival. Available in the U.S. exclusively through NBC UNIVERSO, fans can catch hours of exclusive live coverage and television specials on multiple platforms: on TV, PCs, tablets/mobile devices and On Demand.
Starting on Mon., Feb. 22, NBC UNIVERSO kicks-off its six-day live stream of the music festival, allowing fans to stream all the performances in real-time on NBCUNIVERSO.com, directly from Quinta Vergara amphitheater in the seaside city of Viña del Mar, Chile.
Additionally, the cable network is showcasing the GREAT PERFORMANCES of "Festival Internacional de Viña del Mar 2016" on TV beginning Sat., March 5 at 3 p.m. ET/PT, with a one-hour special featuring music icon Alejandro Sanz. After that, for two full months every Saturday, the network airs a television concert special for viewers to re-live the performances by some of today's biggest Latin artists worldwide.
The action doesn't stop there - subscribers of NBC UNIVERSO on participating cable, satellite and telco services can catch up on the concert specials at any time for up to 30 days after premiere via the NBC UNIVERSO NOW mobile app, as well as Video on Demand and TV Everywhere by entering the subscriber's log-in information.
