Today on NBC UNIVERO, soccer fans throughout the U.S. can continue to experience and enjoy some of the world's most thrilling soccer competition when CONCACAF qualifying matches for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia 2018™ resume with a second-round game featuring the national teams from El Salvador and St. Kitts & Nevis at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT. This game will be the first time Central American CONCACAF FIFA World Cup qualifiers will be widely available to a national audience on cable television in the U.S.

These teams are looking to also make history by playing their way into one of the most watch sporting events in the world - The FIFA World Cup Russia 2018™.

In its first-round Central American CONCACAF qualifying match, St. Kitts & Nevis found the back of the net often during both legs of competition, subsequently dismantling Turks & Caicos Islands and winning on aggregate 12-4. The victory earned the Sugar Boyz the right to advance to second-round competition. Tonight's game will mark nearly 36-years to-the-date that the St. Kitts & Nevis National Team played its first-ever soccer match. For El Salvador, the game will be the first of the qualifying tournament. The team had a first-round bye and did not play. However, Los Cuscatlecos have competed in several other events leading up to tonight's match, and are now looking to begin its long journey back to playing in the World Cup after a 26-year absence.

Veteran soccer analyst Sammy Sadovnik and former Mexican national soccer team superstar Carlos Hermosillo will make the call for Thursday night's El Salvador vs. St. Kitts & Nevis match.

Preceding the start of the CONCACAF World Cup qualifying game later tonight, NBC UNIVERSO will telecast live the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015™ match between Germany and Norway at 3:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 p.m. PT.

Announcing this match will be former Chivas de Guadalajara star Manuel Sol and seasoned sportscaster Copán Alvarez.
