NBC Ties for the Friday Win, DATELINE Ties for #1 at 10, A NINJA Encore Wins the 9 p.m. Hour  Image

"Dateline NBC" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 0.8 in adults 25-54, 3.4 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET):

· Ties for the timeslot win among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.

· From its first half-hour to its fourth, grows by +25% in total viewers (from 2.8 million to 3.5 million).

· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - the prior Friday's "Dateline" increased by +34% in 18-49 (0.71 to 0.95) and +1.2 million viewers overall (4.1 million to 5.3 million) going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens, for the biggest lifts of the night on the Big 4 in 18-49 rating and percentage, as well as total viewers) going from L+SD to L+3 Nielsens.

· Upscale: Friday's "Dateline" is delivering a solid upscale audience, indexing at a 113 among adults 18-49 in $100K+ homes.

An encore telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" (0.5/3 in 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):

· Is close to rounding up to a 0.6 in 18-49 (currently reporting a 0.54 rating in these preliminary fast-affiliate ratings).

· Grows +11% versus last week's rebroadcast in this timeslot in total viewers (2.811 million vs. 2.531 million), to its most-watched encore in this time period among three so far this summer.

· Finishes within 0.1 of the timeslot lead among the Big 4 networks for its two-hour 8-10 p.m. time period.

· For its second hour from 9-10 p.m., ranks #1 outright among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.7/4; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/5 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.4/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.2/4 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/2 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
