NBC Ties for No. 1 on Friday Among Big Four

NBC is tied for #1 in 18-49 Friday night among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX and #1 outright among those networks in adults 25-54.

"Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is running within a tenth of a rating point of #1 in the time period in adults 18-49 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, and is also tied for #1 in the slot in adults 25-54 and women 18-49 and is #1 outright among those networks in total viewers and women 25-54.

At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall) is currently matching NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the half-hour since June 28 ("Dateline NBC") and attracting the network's biggest overall audience in the time period since that same date, pending updates.

At 8:30, a second rebroadcast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall) is currently equaling NBC's best 18-49 rating in the time slot since June 28 and delivering the network's top total-viewer result in the half-hour since that same date, pending updates.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.6/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.9/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/5 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
