NBC' THE VOICE is #1 Non-Sports Telecast of Monday Night

"The Voice" (2.9/9 in 18-49, 10.7 million viewers overall from 8-10:01 p.m. ET) ranked as the night's #1 non-sports telecast on the Big 4 networks in every key demographic (excludes CBS's 8-9 p.m. programming, currently inflated by West Coast basketball coverage). The Voice" is currently winning the time period in women 25-54 and is tied for #1 in women 18-49, pending updates. "Live Plus Seven Day" Ratings: Season to date, first-run editions of Monday's "Voice" have grown by +25% in L+7 vs. L+SD in 18-49 rating (from a 3.45 to a 4.32) and 2.2 million viewers overall (12.4 million to 14.6 million).

Upscale: Last week's "Voice" was the night's most upscale show on the Big 4, indexing at 124 among in adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (100 represents an average concentration of those homes, L+SD).

"The Night Shift" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 5.7 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) grew +17% week to week in adults 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.2) and is currently the only show on ABC, NBC or FOX last night to improve week to week in 18-49 despite CBS's basketball coverage.

In total viewers, "The Night Shift is currently up by +13% week to week (5.705 million vs. 5.043 million) to a five-week high (best since March 2, 6.1 million viewers), pending updates.

"The Night Shift" will grow significantly via time-shifting - last week's "Night Shift" increased by +37% in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 (1.19 to 1.62). In total viewers, "Night Shift" grew by more than 1.2 million persons (from 5.0 million to 6.3 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.0/7 with an encore delayed by a basketball overrun; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.5/3 with an encore delayed by a basketball overrun; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.1/5 delayed by a basketball overrun). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/3 delayed by a basketball overrun).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


For the Week:

· NBC has tied for #2 in adults 18-49 for the primetime week of March 30-April 5, finishing within a tenth of a rating point of first place.


· "The Voice" ranked #2 for the week among primetime telecasts on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and was #1 in adults 18-34, women 18-34, women 18-49 and women 25-54.


· Joining #2 "The Voice" among the week's top 30 primetime programs on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 were Sunday's premiere of "A.D. THE BIBLE Continues" (#5), the Tuesday "Voice" encore recap (tied for #10), "The Blacklist" (tied for #21), "Chicago P.D." (tied for #21), "Law & Order: SVU" (tied for #23) and "Undateable" (tied for #26).


· For the week, NBC averaged a 1.3 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49 and 5.8 million viewers overall, according to "live plus same day" viewing figures from Nielsen Media Research.


· For the 2014-15 season to date, NBC ranks #1 or tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 as well as adults and men 18-34, men and women 18-49 and women 25-54.


· In total viewers, NBC is #2 for the season, and running within 8% of its year-ago Olympics-boosted average (9.0 million vs. 9.8 million), making this season and last NBC's two top-scoring seasons in total viewers at this point since the 2006-07 season. This is the second year in a row NBC has ranked #2 in total viewers at this point in the season, marking first two times since 2003-04 that NBC has ranked as high as #2 in total viewers at this point.
