NBC Sports Group surrounds the Manchester Derby between rivals Manchester City and Manchester United this Sunday, March 20, at Noon ET on NBC and NBC Sports Live Extra with marketing, social, and digital content.
One of the most anticipated matches of the season, this is the first-ever Manchester Derby on U.S. broadcast television. The pressure is mounting for both clubs, as Manchester City look to hold onto their Champions League position with a top-four finish, and Manchester United work to avoid missing out on Champions League play for the second time in three seasons.
NBC Sports Group's lead Premier League play-by-play announcer Arlo White calls the Manchester Derby, joined at the Etihad Stadium by analyst Graeme Le Saux.
Sunday's coverage kicks off at 8:30 a.m. ET on
NBCSN with Premier League Live. Rebecca Lowe hosts Premier League Live, joined by former Major League Soccer and U.S. Men's National Team midfielder Kyle Martino and former Premier League footballer Robbie Mustoe.
REBECCA LOWE, ROBBIE MUSTOE & KYLE MARTINO ON THE MANCHESTER DERBY
REBECCA LOWE: "For decades, the city of Manchester has been dominated by one club - Manchester United. But now, you have to say the tables have turned, the times have shifted, and Manchester City have finally asserted themselves as just as, if not more, likely to be dominant in the coming years. This Sunday's Manchester Derby is not just about football, it's about territory as an entire city witnesses an evolution of sorts. What a day."
ROBBIE MUSTOE: "Manchester clubs are underperforming. A top-four finish to clinch a Champions League spot is now the target for both teams in the Premier League, and that's just not good enough. The Manchester Derby has become bigger in recent years, and this one will be keenly fought as Champions League football is essential to both clubs."
KYLE MARTINO: "Both Manchester clubs are currently far from the great heights expected of them, but make no mistake, this is still the Manchester Derby."
