NBCSN presents the second elimination race of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Playoffs this Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET. Four Cup drivers will see their dreams of a 2015 Championship destroyed, as the field of 12 drivers is cut down to eight. With only five races left before the Championship in Miami, the weekend will inevitably present hard, fast and passionate racing from the track known for mammoth, multi-car crashes.

Before the green flag falls, Steve Letarte talks with his old teammates Dale Earnhardt Jr. and spotter TJ Majors. Because of its inevitable mass collisions, nowhere else are spotters more important than the 2.66-mile track. Majors sheds light on his methods and strategy going into, potentially, their most pivotal race of the year.

In addition, Rutledge Wood catches up with honorary pace car driver and multi-platinum selling artist, Eric Church before his lap around NASCAR's longest oval. Nominated for five CMA awards, including Single of the Year for "Talladega," Church will lead the drivers to the green flag on Sunday.

NASCAR Vice Chairman Mike Helton joins Krista Voda, Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett during NASCAR AMERICA Sunday to discuss the 2015 Playoffs and what lies ahead in the final five races of the season.

Programming also includes legendary NASCAR broadcaster Ken Squier returning to voice a special feature on the 500 most dangerous miles on the NASCAR circuit. Known for its "Big One" crashes, Squier examines the biggest collisions in the track's history and predicts what might transpire in Sunday's pressure-filled race.

NBCSN PRESENTS ELIMINATION RACING FROM TALLADEGA SPEEDWAY

Rick Allen calls this weekend's Sprint Cup action from NASCAR's most competitive track alongside Daytona 500-winning crew chief Steve Letarte and 21-time Sprint Cup winner Jeff Burton. Krista Voda, Kyle Petty and NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Jarrett host NASCAR AMERICA trackside along with pre- and post- race coverage. Features reporter Rutledge Wood ventures around the nearly 2,000-acre site, adding color and perspective to the dynamic race environment.

NBCSN's coverage from "The Heart of Dixie" kicks off this Friday with the first practice at 2 p.m. ET followed by final practice at 4:30 p.m. ET. NASCAR AMERICA wraps up the day at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. NASCAR SPRINT CUP QUALIFYING takes over Saturday's coverage at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Race day Sunday begins at 12 p.m. ET on NBCSN with a special hour and a half edition of NASCAR AMERICA Sunday presented by DraftKings followed by Countdown to Green Served by Sonic pre-race show at 1:30 p.m. ET. Coverage includes Burton's lap around "Dega" from behind the wheel of NBC Sports' Toyota Camry On Track Car. The green flag falls on the final round of 12 race at 2:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Coverage wraps up with the post-race show at 6 p.m. ET followed by NASCAR Victory Lap at 6:30 p.m. ET.
