PITTSBURGH PENGUINS AT OTTAWA SENATORS - GAME 3 AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN - SERIES TIED 1-1
The Penguins drew even in the series with a 1-0 victory in Game 2 on Monday night in Pittsburgh. Marc-Andre Fleury made 23 saves for his 10th career playoff shutout, and Phil Kessel scored the game's only goal with 6:55 remaining in the third period to break the scoreless tie. The Senators did not have a shot on goal for 18:53 of game time spanning the second and third periods. Ottawa goaltender Craig Anderson has been equally strong in net, with a 1.31 goals against average and .958 save percentage in his last three games.
Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby and Ottawa's Erik Karlsson have been held off the scoresheet through two games in the series. Karlsson has not gone three games without a point in over three months, while Crosby has not gone three games without a point all season.
Ottawa went 3-0 at home in their second-round series against the Rangers, defeated the Penguins in both games in Ottawa in the regular season, and has held Pittsburgh to exactly one goal in each of their last four meetings, including the regular season.
IIHF QUARTERFINALS - TEAM USA VS. FINLAND TOMORROW AT 10 A.M. ET ON NBCSN
