F1 SPANISH GRAND PRIX - SUNDAY AT 7:30 A.M. ET ON NBCSN
Rosberg has dominated the F1 circuit to begin the 2016 campaign, rattling off four consecutive wins to start the season, including his first ever "grand slam" at the Russian Grand Prix on May 1, as he led every lap from the pole and set the race's fastest lap.
Rosberg has won seven consecutive races dating back to the 2015 campaign, tied with F1 legends Alberto Ascari and Michael Schumacher for the second-most consecutive wins in F1 history. With a win in Spain this weekend, Rosberg would move within one of Sebastian Vettel's F1 record nine straight victories. Rosberg won his first Spanish Grand Prix last year, holding off Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton.
Eight different drivers have won the Spanish Grand Prix the past eight years, including Hamilton, Fernando Alonso (McLaren), and current Ferrari teammates Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen.
