NBC Sports Group's coverage of the 2016 DEW TOUR kicks off this Saturday, July 30, at 5 p.m. ET on NBC, highlighting three days of premier skateboarding competition from Long Beach, Calif.
Featuring a roster of some of the world's best
ACTION SPORTS athletes, 18 skateboarders faced off against each other in the Dew Tour's new four-part individual pro competition, which incorporated tech, bowl, rail and gap features. In addition, the 2016 event included an all new Team Challenge competition.
Saturday's coverage on
NBC is highlighted by Ryan Sheckler's title clinching run in the individual pro contest, which earned the skate legend a record 15th
DEW TOUR title.
Coverage continues Sunday at 2 p.m. ET on NBC, and features the first ever
DEW TOUR Team Challenge, as Trey Wood, TJ Rogers, Micky Papa, Cody McEntire and team captain Bill Weiss clinched the victory by taking home top honors in the Tech and Rails sections.
Todd Richards hosts
NBC Sports Group's coverage from the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center. Richards will be joined by analysts Chris Pastras and Mike Vallely.
