Olympic gold medalist Mikaela Shiffrin can win the overall Audi FIS World Cup title, alpine skiing's most prestigious annual award, this week, as NBC Sports presents coverage from the 2017 World Cup Finals from Aspen, Colo., this week on NBC and NBCSN.

NBC, NBCSN, NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app will combine to present more than 15 hours of coverage, beginning tomorrow at noon ET on NBCSN with live coverage of the men's and women's downhill, as Lindsey Vonn continues her pursuit towards the most World Cup victories in history.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app - NBC Sports Group's live streaming platforms for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs - will live stream of all events from Aspen.

Coverage of Olympic Sports on NBC Sports Group platforms is a presentation of the Olympic Channel, Home of Team USA.

Shiffrin (1523 pts) is in line to become just the fifth American ever to win the overall World Cup title this week in Aspen. She currently leads Slovenia's Ilka Stuhec (1145 pts) by 378 points, with only 400 points available to be awarded at this week's four races. Shiffrin would clinch the overall World Cup title on Wednesday if Stuhec finishes third or worse in the women's downhill. Shiffrin is not expected to compete in the downhill, but is slated to participate in the slalom and giant slalom.

The 22-year-old Shiffrin would become the youngest winner of the overall World Cup title since Croatia's Janica Kostelic won in 2003. She would join Phil Mahre, Tamara McKinney, Bode Miller, and Lindsey Vonn as the fifth American to ever win an overall title. Shiffrin locked up her fourth World Cup slalom season title after winning her 11th race of the season in Squaw Valley last weekend. Vonn is hoping to add to her career World Cup wins total (77), currently nine behind Ingemar Stenmark (86) for the all-time record in World Cup victories.

On the men's side, Travis Ganong sits tied for seventh in the downhill standings this season, and looks to build off of a win at Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany in January. Austria's Marcel Hirscher has already clinched his record sixth-straight overall World Cup title.

NBC Sports' presentation from Aspen begins tomorrow at noon ET on NBCSN with live coverage of the men's and women's downhill, followed by the men's and women's super-G on Thursday at noon ET and the team event on Friday at 12:30 p.m. ET.

NBC will televise first runs of the men's giant slalom and women's slalom on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. ET, and NBCSN will showcase the second runs of those events on Saturday at 6 p.m. ET. Coverage concludes with the women's giant slalom and men's slalom on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

Streaming coverage of the first parts of the men's downhill and women's super-G runs will take place at 11:30 a.m. ET on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app on Wednesday and Thursday. In addition, NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app will provide streaming coverage of the first runs of the men's and women's giant slalom and slalom on Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. ET.

Former World Cup skier Steve Porino (play-by-play), two-time overall World Cup winner Bode Miller (analyst), and Kelli Stavast (reporter) will call Wednesday's and Thursday's events. Steve Schlanger (play-by-play), Porino (analyst) and Stavast (reporter) will call the action from Friday through Sunday.
