RPM Events Group and NBC Sports Group have partnered on a media rights agreement for the inaugural Colorado Classic bike race, both parties announced today. The four-day race (Aug. 10-13) will be televised on NBCSN and live streamed on NBC Sports Gold - NBC Sports Digital's live streaming direct-to-consumer product.

"NBC Sports is an international leader in coverage of cycling, and this partnership allows us to significantly expand our audience and share the excitement of the inaugural Colorado Classic with cycling fans throughout the state and across the globe," said RPM Events Group CEO David Koff. "This partnership also allows us to showcase Colorado, our host cities and the Colorado Classic in ways that will help propel us toward our goal of producing sustainable, entertaining cycling events on an annual basis."

"As the home of many prestigious cycling races, we're excited to partner with the Colorado Classic and continue our commitment to cycling fans," said Jeff Macaluso, Senior Director, Programming, NBC Sports Group.

The 2017 Colorado Classic will be held for four days this summer with starts and finishes in Colorado Springs, Breckenridge, and Denver. As a Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) sanctioned 2.HC stage race, the Colorado Classic will feature WorldTour teams, the sport's top squads.

From Aug. 10-13, the Colorado Classic men's field will race more than 300 miles in fan-friendly circuits in Colorado Springs, Breckenridge and Denver. The Colorado Classic will also feature women's circuit racing in Colorado Springs on Aug. 10 and in Breckenridge and Denver on Aug. 11.

Paul Sherwen will call the action on NBCSN and NBC Sports Gold, joined by analyst Christian Vande Velde and reporter Bob Roll.
