NBC Sports Network's 2012-13 college basketball coverage begins this Friday with a live triple-header. The day is headlined with Georgetown facing No.10 Florida in the Navy–Marine Corps Classic, live from the deck of the USS Bataan in Jacksonville, Fla. at 9 p.m. ET. In the Walmart Carrier Classic women's match-up at 4 p.m. ET, No.7 Notre Dame takes on No.19 Ohio State, live from the deck of the USS Yorktown in Charleston, S.C. The men's game follows at 7 p.m. ET, when No. 4 Ohio State takes on Marquette, who advanced to last year's Sweet 16.

Tom Hammond will call the action and manage play-by-play for the Navy-Marine Corps Classic in Jacksonville, Fla. Hammond will be joined by former NBA head coach Stan Van Gundy, who makes his national-television debut as a game analyst. Carolyn Manno will report from both benches.
Dave Strader will handle play-by-play for both the men's and women's games in Charleston, N.C. For the women's game, he will be joined by two-time NCAA Women's National Champion (UCONN: 2000, 2002), three-time WNBA Champion (2003, 2006, 2010) and two-time Olympic gold medalist (2004, 2012) Swin Cash. Former New Jersey Nets and UCONN forward Donny Marshall will join Strader as the men's-game analyst. Lewis Johnson will serve as the game reporter for both the women's and men's matchups.
Liam McHugh will host NBC Sports Network's Carrier Classic Countdown, live from the deck of the USS Bataan, and will provide pre-game, halftime and post-game coverage. McHugh will be joined by Stacey King, the former center for Oklahoma and three-time NBA Finals Champion with the Chicago Bulls. In addition to delivering news and scores from the day in sports, Carrier Classic Countdown will celebrate Veterans Day with a behind-the-scenes tour of the USS Bataan and a feature on Jacksonville's rich military heritage.
NBC SPORTS NETWORK COLLEGE BASKETBALL: The NBC Sports Network will televise more than 50 college basketball games this season - the most in its history - featuring more than 40 different schools. The majority of the games and teams will come from the Atlantic 10, Mountain West, Colonial Athletic Association and Ivy League conferences. The 2012-13 NBC Sports Network schedule also includes: two tip-off classics from aircraft carriers – the Carrier Classic and Navy-Marine Corps Classic; an eight-team pre-season tournament, the Battle 4 Atlantis; and the Semifinal and Final of the Colonial Athletic Association's conference tournament.
