NBC Sports Network will air live coverage of the 111th Paris-Roubaix cycling race on Sunday, April 7 at 8 a.m. ET. Also referred to as the "Queen of the Classics," Paris-Roubaix is a one-day 254km road race in northern France. The challenging route starts in Compiègne and races to Roubaix over 27 cobbled sectors.
Fabian Cancellara of Team RadioShack-Leopard races for his third Paris-Roubaix triumph after winning last Sunday's Tour of Flanders. 2011 Paris-Roubaix winner Belgian Johan Van Summeren of Team Garmin-Sharp returns along with 22-year old American Taylor Phinney of BMC who made his debut to the race last year and won the junior version of Paris-Roubaix twice ('09, '10).
NBC Sports Group's cycling announce team of Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen will call all the action.
NBC Sports Network will also air coverage of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège on Sunday, April 21 at 2 a.m. ET and Flèche Wallonne on Wednesday, April 24 at 1 a.m. ET from Belgium.
