NBCSN presents live primetime coverage of the 2017 TOKYO MARATHON this Sat., Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. ET - a unique U.S. TV primetime presentation of a major marathon. Kenya's Wilson Kipsang headlines the men's race. Kipsang, a former world record holder, and the 2012 Olympic marathon bronze medalist, faces fellow countryman and 2014 Tokyo Marathon champion Dickson Chumba, 2008 Olympic marathon bronze medalist Tsegaye Kebede of Ethiopia, and American Andrew Bumbalough, a former All-American at Georgetown who finished fifth at the 2015 New York City Half-Marathon.

The women's field is led by two-time Olympian Lucy Kabuu of Kenya, Amane Gobena of Ethiopia, who finished second in last year's Tokyo Marathon, and 2015 Tokyo Marathon champion Birhane Dibaba of Ethiopia. Also competing in the women's race are Kenya's Betsy Saina, a three-time NCAA champion at Iowa State who finished fifth in the 10,000m at the 2016 Rio Olympics and is making her marathon debut, and American Sara Hall, who finished ninth at the 2016 New York City Marathon.

Paul Swangard calls the race joined by analyst Carrie Tollefson.

Coverage of Olympic Sports on NBC Sports Group platforms is a presentation of the Olympic Channel, Home of Team USA.

The 2017 Tokyo Marathon will be streamed live on NBCSports.com, and the NBC Sports app via "TV Everywhere," giving consumers additional value for their subscription service, and making high quality content available to MVPD customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.
