NHL STADIUM SERIES - MAPLE LEAFS-CAPITALS - SATURDAY AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBC
The Maple Leafs and Capitals take it outside on Saturday night in primetime on NBC with both teams primed for playoff runs this spring. Last season, Washington defeated Toronto in a spirited first-round Stanley Cup Playoff series that lasted six games, in which five games required overtime. This marks the second of three meetings between the clubs this season. The Caps beat the Leafs, 4-2, in Toronto in November, propelled by a hat trick by Ovechkin.

Mitch Marner, who leads the team outright with 51 points, is tied for the fourth-most goals (8) in February along with 16 points. Phenom Auston Matthews, who leads the team with 28 goals, suffered a shoulder injury last week against the New York Islanders, and his status for Saturday's game is unknown.
