NBC Sports Group presents coverage of the 2017 FISA World Rowing Championships from Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota-Bradenton, Fla., with 12 hours of live coverage on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA beginning this Thursday, September 28. Thursday's live coverage begins with the semifinals at 10 a.m. ET on the Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA. In addition, NBCSN will present encore coverage this Friday, September 29, at 10:30 p.m. ET and Sunday, October 1, at 11 p.m. ET.
The 2017 FISA World Rowing Championships features participants from across 65 countries, including a contingent of 78 athletes from the United States. Headlining the U.S. team will be the women's eight led by 2016 Olympic gold medalists Katelin Guregian, Emily Regan and Lauren Schmetterling, which looks to continue its unprecedented, 11-year winning streak at both the World Championships and Olympics. The Americans' flagship boat has won every major event since 2006, most recently claiming Olympic gold last summer in Rio. In addition, coverage includes the para-rowing finals on Thursday.
