NBC Sports Presents Live Coverage Of Verizon Indycar Series  Image

NBC Sports' presentation of the 2018 Verizon INDYCAR SERIES heads to the iconic Road America circuit in Elkhart Lake, Wis., this weekend, with live coverage of the Kohler Grand Prix this Sunday at 1 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Pre-race coverage begins at 12:30 p.m. ET with INDYCAR Live presented by Verizon, which will take place from the grid in the lead up to the command, bringing viewers even closer to the action prior to the race.

NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app - NBC Sports Group's live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets, and connected TVs - will provide live streaming coverage of the Kohler Grand Prix.

NBC Sports' motorsports coverage this weekend will also feature comprehensive coverage of the 2018 Lucas Oil Pro MOTOCROSS Championship's Tennessee National from Muddy Creek Raceway on Saturday, and more than 10 hours of Mecum Auctions coverage from Portland, Ore., beginning Friday at 4 p.m. ET on NBCSN.

INDYCAR KOHLER GRAND PRIX - SUNDAY AT 1 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing) rolls into Road America with four top-five finishes in his last five races, including a win at the DXC Technology 600 at Texas Motor Speedway, to move atop the INDYCAR standings. Dixon (357 points) leads Alexander Rossi (Andretti Autosport), who finished third in Texas, by 23 points at the midpoint of the season. Dixon was last year's winner at Road America ahead of four Team Penske drivers, including second-place finisher and current series defending champion Josef Newgarden.

Coverage from Road America begins Saturday at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN with qualifying, prior to pre-race coverage on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Pre-race coverage will also include a feature by Robin Miller on Scott Dixon, examining his recent charge to the top of the standings.

Lead INDYCAR play-by-play commentator Leigh Diffey will call this weekend's Kohler Grand Prix as part of a unique broadcasting doubleheader. Diffey will be in Des Moines, Iowa, to lead NBC Sports' coverage of the U.S. Track & Field Outdoor Championships, part of the 2018 Team USA Summer CHAMPIONS Series, on Saturday afternoon, then travel to Elkhart Lake to call the Kohler Grand Prix less than 18 hours later.

Diffey will be joined at Road America by analysts and former INDYCAR drivers Paul Tracy and Townsend Bell. Marty Snider, Robin Miller, Kevin Lee, Kelli Stavast and Katie Hargitt will report from the pits. In addition, NBC Sports will present the Indy Lights Grand Prix of Road America on Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on NBCSN. Kevin Lee, Anders Krohn, and Katie Hargitt will call the action.

NBC Sports is the exclusive television home of the Verizon INDYCAR SERIES in the United States. Following the final nine races of this season on NBCSN, NBC Sports will present all present all INDYCAR races, qualifying, practices, and Indy Lights races across its platforms beginning in 2019, including the Indianapolis 500 and an additional seven races on NBC.

NBC SPORTS PRESENTS 2018 LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS "TENNESSEE NATIONAL" LIVE THIS SATURDAY ON NBCSN AND NBC SPORTS GOLD

NBC Sports continues its presentation of the 2018 LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP this Saturday with live coverage of the Tennessee National from Muddy Creek Raceway in Sullivan County, Tenn., on NBCSN and NBC Sports Gold - NBC Sports Digital's direct-to-consumer live-streaming product. Saturday's live coverage on NBCSN begins at 3 p.m. ET with Moto 2s, and can be live streamed on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

In addition, NBC Sports Gold's "Pro MOTOCROSS Pass" will super-serve the passionate MOTOCROSS fan base with live, commercial-free coverage of every qualifier, Moto 1 and Moto 2 of the Tennessee National.

Defending series champion Eli Tomac continued his dominance in the 450 Class last weekend, winning the High Point National from Mount Morris, Pa., marking his fourth event victory of the season. Tomac (197 points) currently holds a 28-point lead over Marvin Musquin, who placed second in the event last weekend, in the point standings.

Jason Weigandt will handle play-by-play duties for this weekend's coverage of the Tennessee National alongside analyst and two-time AMA Pro MOTOCROSS Champion Grant Langston and pit reporter Will Christien.

NBC SPORTS PRESENTS MORE THAN 10 HOURS OF COVERAGE OF MECUM AUCTIONS: PORTLAND BEGINNING FRIDAY AT 4 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

NBC Sports' coverage of the 2018 Mecum Auctions season rolls into Portland, Ore., this weekend with more than 10 hours of coverage of Mecum Auctions: Portland on NBCSN, including live coverage beginning Friday at 4 p.m. ET from the Portland Expo Center.

The Mecum Auctions: Portland auction block is highlighted by more than 600 classic and collector cars, including a 1961 Chrysler 300G, a fuel-injected 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible and a 1970 Dodge Hemi Challenger R/T.

Coverage begins Friday with a live, three-hour window on NBCSN beginning at 4 p.m. ET. NBCSN will present same-day delay coverage throughout the weekend, beginning Saturday at 8 p.m. ET.

Scott Hoke will host NBCSN's Mecum Auctions coverage on-site in Portland alongside analysts John Kraman, Stephen Cox, Bill Stephens, and reporter Katie Osborne. Mecum Auctions is led by Dana Mecum, Founder and President of Mecum Auctions for the past 30 years.

AMERICAN FLAT TRACK OKC MILE - SATURDAY AT 5 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

Coverage of the 2018 American Flat Track season continues this weekend with the OKC Mile from Oklahoma City on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET on NBCSN. American Flat Track is the most historic form of American motorcycle racing and is in the midst of its 65th season. Coverage from all 18 events will feature flag-to-flag coverage of both racing classes on NBCSN.
