College football's longest uninterrupted intersectional series continues today at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC, when the No. 25 Notre Dame Fighting Irish host the Navy Midshipmen in South Bend, Ind. Coverage begins with Countdown To Kickoff on NBCSN at 3 p.m. ET.
Saturday's matchup marks the 87th consecutive meeting between Notre Dame and Navy. The two schools have split the last six meetings, although Notre Dame holds a commanding 73-12-1 advantage in the all-time series. Notre Dame QB Tommy Rees leads the Fighting Irish (6-2) against the Midshipmen after throwing a career-high five touchdown passes in last Saturday's 45-10 win at Air Force. Navy (4-3) enters action on Saturday following a 24-21 win against Pittsburgh last weekend.

Liam McHugh hosts Countdown To Kickoff on the field at Notre Dame Stadium. He will be joined on-site by 1984 Heisman Trophy Winner Doug Flutie and two-time
Super Bowl champion Hines Ward. McHugh, Flutie and Ward will also manage half-time coverage for the broadcasting.
