NBC Sports Group presents INDYCAR IOWA CORN 300 & F1 AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX This Weekend

NBC Sports Group will present more than 50 hours of motorsports action this weekend, including the IndyCar Iowa Corn 300 this Sunday at 5:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN, and the Formula One Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. ET on CNBC.

Coverage also includes the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship Southwick National event on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC; Red Bull Global RallyCross action from Indianapolis on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN; as well as the NASCAR XFINITY and Cup Series races from Kentucky on Friday and Saturday nights on NBCSN.


INDYCAR IOWA CORN 300 - SUNDAY AT 5:30 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

NBCSN continues its coverage of the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series this with live coverage of the Iowa Corn 300 from Iowa Speedway this Sunday afternoon on NBCSN. Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing) earned his first win of the season at Road America in the Kohler Grand Prix on June 25. Dixon (379 points) holds the lead in the drivers' standings ahead of Team Penske's Simon Pagenaud (345 points) and Helio Castroneves (342 points). Josef Newgarden (Team Penske) was the runner-up at Road America, won last year's race at Iowa, and is fifth in the standings (318 points).

NBCSN will televise live coverage of qualifying on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET, and will present the Indy Lights race on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET. Pre-race coverage starts at 5 p.m. ET, leading into green flag coverage at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Kevin Lee (play-by-play) will call the action alongside former drivers Paul Tracy and Townsend Bell. Reporters Jon Beekhuis, Katie Hargitt, Robin Miller and Anders Krohn will report from the pits.

The IndyCar Kohler Grand Prix on NBCSN on June 25 averaged 568,000 viewers, up 21% vs. the same event in 2015 on NBCSN (470,000). Through five races on NBCSN, the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series on NBCSN is averaging 462,000 viewers, up 23% vs. the same date in 2016 (375,000).


F1 AUSTRIAN GRAND PRIX - SUNDAY AT 7:30 A.M. ET ON CNBC

Coverage of the 2017 Formula One season continues this Sunday at 7:30 a.m. ET on CNBC with the Austrian Grand Prix. The campaign has heated up following a wild Azerbaijan Grand Prix on June 25, highlighted by contact between Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) behind the safety car. Vettel (153 points) leads Hamilton (139) in the driver standings, but Mercedes (250 points) holds an edge over Ferrari (226) in the constructor standings. Hamilton won last year's race at Spielberg.

Coverage begins Friday on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app at 4 a.m. ET with Practice 1, followed by Practice 2 at 8 a.m. ET, which will air on NBCSN at 3 p.m. ET. NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app will stream Practice 3 on Saturday at 5 a.m. ET, prior to NBCSN's live coverage of qualifying at 8 a.m. ET. Live race coverage from Austria begins Sunday at 7:30 a.m. ET on CNBC. NBCSN will air an encore presentation of the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.

NBC Sports Group's lead F1 broadcast team of Leigh Diffey (play-by-play), veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team Steve Matchett will call the action. F1 insider Will Buxton will report on-site from Spielberg, Austria.


LUCAS OIL PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP - SOUTHWICK NATIONAL - SATURDAY AT 3:30 P.M. ET ON NBC

The Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship continues with the Southwick National from Southwick, Mass., this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET on NBC. Eli Tomac swept last weekend's event at RedBud to regain the series lead in the 450 class, while Zach Osborne won the 250 Class event last weekend at RedBud, and leads his respective class.

Veteran play-by-play voice Jason Weigandt, analyst and two-time AMA Pro Motocross Champion Grant Langston, and pit reporter Georgia Lindsay will call this weekend's action.


RED BULL GLOBAL RALLYCROSS INDIANAPOLIS - SUNDAY AT 8 P.M. ET ON NBCSN

NBC Sports continues its coverage of the 2017 Red Bull Global RallyCross Championship with this weekend's event in Indianapolis. Tanner Foust (Volkswagen Andretti Rallycross; 418 points) is coming off a race win and a second-place finish in the Canada doubleheader on June 17-18, and leads Steve Arpin(Loenbro Motorsports; 391 points) atop the standings. Ricky Johnson and Will Christien will call the action.


NBC SPORTS GROUP PRESENTS MORE THAN 16 HOURS OF TRACKSIDE COVERAGE FROM KENTUCKY

NBC Sports Group gears up for its second week of live 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and XFINITY Series racing with more than 16 hours of trackside coverage from Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Ky. NBCSN's race coverage begins Friday at 8 p.m. ET, with XFINITY Series racing from Kentucky Speedway, and culminates Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET with Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series racing.
