PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS (PBC) coverage continues this Saturday, November 7 live at 9 p.m. ET on NBCSN, highlighted by a welterweight bout between Kevin Bizier (24-2, 16 KOs) and Fredrick Lawson (24-0, 20 KOs) from Miccosukee Resort and Gaming in Miami, Fla.
Coverage begins with a super lightweight clash between Walter Castillo (26-3, 19 KOs) and Keita Obara (15-1, 14 KOs). Kenny Rice calls the action alongside analysts "Sugar" Ray Leonard and B.J. Flores, with Todd Harris reporting from ring-side.
A LOOK AT THE MATCHUPS
31-year-old Kevin Bizier has fought exclusively on his home soil of Quebec, Canada and will be making his U.S. debut on Saturday. Bizier owns victories over Lanardo Tyner, Carlos Herrera and most recently, Fouad El Massoudi in April.
Born in Ghana but fighting out of Chicago, Fredrick Lawson is unbeaten since turning pro in 2011 and knocked out 19 of the first 20 opponents he faced. The 26-year-old racked up 21 wins fighting in Ghana before making his U.S. debut in March 2014. Since arriving in the U.S., Lawson has remained unbeaten with victories over Mohammed Kayongo, Ray Narh and Breidis Prescott.
The 27-year-old Walter Castillo, from Managua, Nicaragua, most recently stopped Ammeth Diaz in the third round of their July bout. Castillo faces Keita Obara, who delivered knockouts in 14 of his last 15 fights, all victories. The 28-year-old from Tokyo will be making his U.S. debut on Saturday and is looking for his third
KNOCKOUT victory of 2015.
