NBC Sports Group will air more than 17 hours of motorsports coverage this weekend across NBC, NBC Sports Network and CNBC. Coverage is highlighted by the Formula One German Grand Prix live at 7:30 a.m. ET on CNBC, followed immediately by F1 Extra, a half-hour post-race show this Sunday.
NBC Sports Network's F1 coverage begins on Friday at 4:30 p.m. ET with practice, followed by live qualifying on Saturday at 8 a.m. ET.
NBC Sports Network will also air GP2, F1's developmental series, on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
German natives Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull), who leads the F1 driver standings with 132 points, and Nico Rosberg (Mercedes), who has won two of the last three Grand Prixes (Monaco and British), aim to win for the first time on native soil. No.2-ranked Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), who topped the podium at the German Grand Prix last year, looks to win his fourth.
In addition to F1, AMA Motocross will air on
NBC Saturday at 3 p.m. ET and continue on
NBC Sports Network at 4 p.m. ET. Desafio Ruta, a part of the Dakar Series, will air on
NBC Sports Network at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday. On Sunday,
NBC will air Octane Academy at 3:30 p.m. ET.
NBC Sports Live Extra will also provide robust live streaming of motorsports coverage this weekend.

COMMENTATORS: Lead F1 announcer Leigh Diffey will call the German Grand Prix and will be joined by veteran analyst and former racecar driver David Hobbs, and analyst and former race mechanic for the Benetton F1 team Steve Matchett. F1 insider Will Buxton will serve as the team's on-site reporter from Nurburgring Circuit in Nurburg, Germany. He will also call the GP2 race.
Jeff Weigandt, Jeff Emig and Erin Coscarelli will host AMA Motocross coverage from Buchanan, Mich.
