NBC Sports Group will air more than 17 hours of motorsports coverage this weekend across NBC, NBC Sports Network and CNBC. Coverage is highlighted by the Formula One German Grand Prix live at 7:30 a.m. ET on CNBC, followed immediately by F1 Extra, a half-hour post-race show this Sunday.

NBC Sports Network's F1 coverage begins on Friday at 4:30 p.m. ET with practice, followed by live qualifying on Saturday at 8 a.m. ET. NBC Sports Network will also air GP2, F1's developmental series, on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.

German natives Sebastian Vettel (Red Bull), who leads the F1 driver standings with 132 points, and Nico Rosberg (Mercedes), who has won two of the last three Grand Prixes (Monaco and British), aim to win for the first time on native soil. No.2-ranked Fernando Alonso (Ferrari), who topped the podium at the German Grand Prix last year, looks to win his fourth.

In addition to F1, AMA Motocross will air on NBC Saturday at 3 p.m. ET and continue on NBC Sports Network at 4 p.m. ET. Desafio Ruta, a part of the Dakar Series, will air on NBC Sports Network at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday. On Sunday, NBC will air Octane Academy at 3:30 p.m. ET.
