NBC RATINGS NOTES FOR THURSDAY, AUG. 20

Please note due to preseason football, some ratings may be inflated. They will be accurate when the official nationals come in at 1 p.m. PT/4 p.m. ET.

- NBC came in #2 for the night in the 18-49 demo (1.3/5) and 5.717 million viewers.

- From 8-9 p.m., "Food Fighters" (1.1) came in #2 for the hour and drew 4.786 million viewers.

- "Food Fighters" rose from the first half-hour to the second half-hour in both the demo and total viewers.

- From 9-11 p.m., "Dateline Mystery" (1.4, 6.182 million viewers) was tied for #1 in the two-hour timeslot in the demo was #1 in total viewers.

- "Dateline Mystery" rose from its first to second half-hour and stayed even for the last hour in the demo.
