NBC Ratings: DATELINE Dips with World Series Competition

"Dateline NBC" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 1.3 in adults 25-54, 4.3 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET):

Maintains 90% of the previous week's adult 18-49 rating (0.9 vs. 1.0, which matched the show's season high), despite last night's high-rated Indians-Cubs WORLD SERIES competition

For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., ranks #2 among non-sports shows on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers, ties for #1 non-sports in adults 18-34 and ranks #1 outright among non-sports shows on the Big 4 in women 18-49 and women 25-54, outscoring ABC's "20/20" head to head in every key measure except women 18-34, where the two shows tied.

Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting - so far this season, Friday's "Dateline NBC" is increasing by +29% this season in 18-49 rating (from a 0.92 to a 1.19) and 1.1 million viewers overall (4.6 million to 5.7 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

Upscale: "Dateline" is generating a solid upscale audience, indexing at a 108 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes.

"Caught on Camera With Nick Cannon" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 2.7 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):

Maintains 100% of the prior week's adult 18-49 rating (0.6 vs. 0.6), despite last night's high-rated WORLD SERIES competition

Also maintains 100% in men and women 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.3/5; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.0/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/3 with an encore.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/3; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2, with an encore.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households with an encore; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/3 with an encore. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2 with an encore.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
