NBC has won the primetime ratings week of July 18-24 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers and every other key measure, giving the network a fifth consecutive win among those nets in adults 18-49 (including a tie) and four wins in a row in total viewers, according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research.
The four-week winning streak in total viewers is NBC's longest, excluding Olympic weeks, in 14 years (since a seven-week streak in the spring of 2002 that extended from the week of April 29 to the week of June 10). NBC's dominant week was led by the top 2 primetime shows of the week on ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49 and total viewers, "America's Got Talent," which was joined in the adult 18-49 top 20 last week by "American Ninja Warrior," "Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge" and all four nights of NBC News coverage of the Republican National Convention. "America's Got Talent" accounted for the week's top 2 primetime ratings on the Big 4 networks in 18-49, total viewers, adults, men and women 25-54, kids 2-11 and teens 12-17. Rankings among those shows in adults 18-49 were: Tuesday's and Wednesday's "Talent," tied for #1; Monday's "American Ninja Warrior," #5; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday Convention coverage, tied for #14, Tuesday's Convention coverage, #19 and Thursday's season finale of "Spartan," tied for #20.Videos
