NBC has finished #2 in total viewers for the primetime ratings week of May 2-8, while also tying for #2 among the Big 4 networks in adults 25-54, men 25-54 and men 18-34, according to "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research.
Placing in the top 30 for the week among primetime Big 4 telecasts in the key demographic of adults 18-49 were Monday and Tuesday editions of "The Voice" (tied for #4 and #14 respectively), Tuesday's "Chicago Fire" (tied for #14), Tuesday's "Chicago Med" (tied for #19), Monday's "Blindspot" (tied for #24), Wednesday's "Chicago P.D." (tied for #24) and Sunday's "Little Big Shots" (tied for #24).
Versus the same week last year,
NBC grew in total viewers and men 18-34, while retaining 100% of its rating in adults, men and women 25-54; adults, men and women 18-34; men 18-49 and women 18-49.

NBC is running within 0.1 of a rating point of #1 behind Super Bowl-boosted
CBS in adults 18-49.
NBC's total-viewer average of 8.198 million is the network's highest at this point in a season without a
SUPER BOWL or Olympic boost since 2006-07 (8.990 million).
Primetime averages for the week of May 2-8 in adults 18-49 are: ABC, 1.3 rating, 5 share; CBS, 1.2/5; NBC, 1.1/4; Fox, 0.9/3; and CW, 0.5/2. In overall total viewers, the weekly averages were: CBS, 7.9 million; NBC, 5.5 million; ABC, 5.4 million; Fox, 2.7 million; and CW, 1.5 million.
"Most current" averages for the season to date are: CBS, 2.3/8; NBC, 2.2/7; Fox, 1.9/6; ABC, 1.8/6; and CW, 0.8/3. In overall total viewers, the season averages are: CBS, 11.0 million; NBC, 8.2 million; ABC, 6.8 million; Fox, 5.9 million; and CW, 2.0 million.
