The NBC Owned Television Stations division of NBCUniversal today announced that Tony Chiulli has been named Senior Vice President of National Sales for the East Coast, overseeing all sales efforts for the national sales organizations in New York, Philadelphia, Boston and Atlanta.
Chiulli will be responsible for developing and maintaining national partnerships and revenue opportunities for the NBC-owned stations and several Regional Sports Networks that are part of the Comcast Sports Group. He will report to Frank Comerford, Chief Revenue Officer for the
NBC Owned Stations. Chiulli's counterpart is Cathy Jones, Senior Vice President of National Sales for the West Coast, based in Los Angeles.
"I have worked closely with Tony for many years and am thrilled to promote him to this role leading national sales for the East Coast," said Comerford. "With his decades of experience, his leadership abilities and his proven success, I am confident he and Cathy Jones will together bring our national sales efforts to the next level."
Chiulli has worked in local television advertising sales for nearly 30 years. For the last six years, he was the Local Sales Manager for WNBC, responsible for sales across the station's on air, online and digital platforms. Previously, Chiulli worked in a similar role at WNYW, the
FOX station in New York. Before that, he held roles of increasing responsibility in advertising sales at the
NBC Owned Television Stations and several different sales firms representing a variety of local stations.
Chiulli holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Morehead State University. He resides in New Jersey with his wife, Stacy, and children, Brett and Taylor.
