NBC News & MSNBC to Present Special All-Day Inauguration Coverage

NBC News and MSNBC together will deliver wall-to-wall coverage of President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration on January 20th, anchored live from Washington, D.C. and NBC News world headquarters in New York, with anchors and correspondents reporting from Capitol Hill, the parade route, the National Mall, the White House, across the country, and around the world.

Inauguration coverage on the NBC broadcast network begins at 7 a.m. ET as Matt Lauer co-hosts "TODAY" live from Washington, D.C. on Friday morning, with Al Roker, "Meet the Press" moderator and NBC News political director Chuck Todd and NBC News analyst Nicolle Wallace.

Beginning at 10 a.m. ET, "NBC Nightly News" anchor Lester Holt leads coverage from Capitol Hill, joined by NBC NEWS SPECIAL correspondent Tom Brokaw, Todd and Wallace. NBC News analysts Ben Ginsberg and Hugh Hewitt and NBC News presidential historian Michael Beschloss will also join the network's coverage.

"NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt" originates live from Washington, D.C. both Thursday and Friday, with an expanded one-hour broadcast on Inauguration Day.

On MSNBC, coverage kicks off with a special four-hour edition of "Morning Joe" live from The Dubliner pub in Washington, D.C. from 6 - 10 a.m. ET.

Rachel Maddow, Brian Williams, and Chris Matthews lead MSNBC's all-day coverage beginning at 10 a.m. ET, anchored from MSNBC World Headquarters in New York, with live reports from MSNBC and NBC News correspondents on the ground in Washington and beyond.

Prime time coverage and analysis continues on MSNBC throughout the night as the Trumps and other dignitaries attend inaugural balls.

MSNBC will anchor live from Washington D.C leading up to Inauguration Day. Throughout the week, MSNBC will air all-new series that go behind the scenes of preparations for the inauguration and look ahead at what's to come from the Trump administration.
