NBC News' coverage of President Trump's visit to the United Kingdom begins Thursday. Lester Holt, anchor of "NBC Nightly News" will anchor NBC News' special reports throughout Trump's visit to the U.K. and will contribute to "TODAY." Holt broadcasts "NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt" live from London on Friday, July 13 and live from Helsinki on Sunday, July 15 and Monday, July 16.
Sunday's "Meet the Press" with Chuck Todd will provide extensive analysis of Trump's meetings with Prime Minister Theresa May as well as a preview of the president's meeting with the Russian leader.
NBC News chief foreign affairs correspondent Andrea Mitchell, NBC News chief White House correspondent Hallie Jackson, and NBC News White House correspondents Kristen Welker,Kelly O'Donnell, and Geoff Bennett will report throughout the trip for "TODAY," "NBC Nightly News," "Meet the Press," and MSNBC from London, Glasgow, and Helsinki. NBC News White House reporter Jonathan Allen will report from the ground in Helsinki for NBC News Digital, providing breaking news coverage and analysis. Mitchell will also author diplomatic analysis for NBCNews.com.
On MSNBC, coverage of President Trump's visit to the United Kingdom begins Thursday on "Morning Joe First Look." Mitchell and Jackson will offer reports during their shows on MSNBC Thursday and Friday from the U.K. On Monday morning, Mitchell anchors MSNBC's coverage of the meeting between President Trump and President Putin in Helsinki. Mitchell and Jackson will continue to report for their shows on MSNBC from the ground in Finland.
NBC News chief foreign correspondent Richard Engel will report live from London for the president's visit and will anchor his show "On Assignment" from London on Friday. Engel will travel to Moscow to report on the meeting between President Trump and President Putin. NBC News chief global correspondent Bill Neely and foreign correspondents Lucy Kafanov, CalPerry, and Matt Bradley will also join coverage, reporting from the U.K. and Helsinki.
