According to Nielsen Media Research Live+Same Day data for the week of July 6-9, 2015, Nightly topped ABC's "World News Tonight" by +639,000 total viewers, +178,000 viewers A25-54, and +201,000 viewers A18-49. Nightly has now won 4 of the last 5 weeks, 8 of the last 11 weeks, and 296 of the last 303 weeks among total viewers.
Versus the same week last season, Nightly posted increases in total viewers (+5%, or +384,000), A25-54 viewers (+11%, or +200,000), and A18-49 viewers (+10%, or +130,000).
3Q'15-to-date, Nightly is posting across-the-board gains versus its 2Q'15 averages in total viewers (+6%, or +484,000), A25-54 viewers (+9%, or +169,000), and A18-49 viewers (+12%, or +159,000).
ABC continues to be down in all 3QTD measures vs. 2Q'15.
Season-to-date, Nightly is now #1 in total viewers, A25-54, and A18-49 after surpassing
ABC in the A25-54 demo.
