For the week, Nightly News averaged 1.2 million A18-49 viewers, topping ABC by +168,000 viewers (+17%) and CBS by +440,000 viewers (+59%). Among A18-49 viewers, Nightly News has won 100 of the last 101 weeks.

Nightly News averaged 7.2 million total viewers for the week of July 3, leading CBS EVENING NEWS by +1.5 million (+25%).

Nightly News holds its largest demo lead over ABC in four seasons and biggest advantage over CBS in three seasons. Compared to last season, Nightly News' demo lead over ABC is up by +8% and its lead over CBS is up +13%. In A18-49, Nightly News is posting its best advantages over the competition in three seasons leading ABC by +200,000 (+16%) and CBS by +416,000 (+40%) compared to last season.

Due to the July 4 holiday, all three evening newscasts were rated for three days (Wed-Fri).
