NBC NIGHTLY NEWS WITH LESTER HOLT was #1 in total viewers and all categories for the week of December 14-18, marking 24 across-the-board wins in the last 26 weeks. The NBC broadcast has been #1 in total viewers all 26 weeks since Holt was named anchor, and for 31 of the last 34 weeks and 366 of the last 374 weeks.
With one week remaining in 2015, Nightly is leading among total viewers, A25-54 and A18-49 viewers for the calendar year. Nightly's A25-54 demo advantage over
ABC improved by 28% compared to the same period in 2014.
The
NBC broadcast is also #1 across the board season to date. Nightly has seen a 198,000 viewer turnaround in the A25-54 gap versus last year when it trailed
ABC by -11,000. Nightly's demo advantage over
CBS is up 14% year-over-year.
NOTE: Kate Snow anchored Tuesday and Thursday last week, while Lester Holt was out.

Nightly averaged 2.132 million A25-54 viewers, +243,000 (+13%) higher than

Nightly averaged 1.520 million A18-49 viewers, leading
ABC by +274,000 (+22%) and
CBS by +364,000 (+31%).
The
NBC broadcast is #1 in A18-49 viewers for 21 consecutive weeks, 25 of the last 26 weeks and 29 of the last 32 weeks.

ABC by +351,000 (+4% )and
CBS by +1.508 million (+21%).
Nightly is averaging 2.137 million A25-54 viewers, leading
ABC by +187,000 (+10%) and

Nightly is averaging 1.538 million A18-49 viewers, leading
ABC by +227,000 (+17 %) and
CBS by +422,000 (+38%).
Compared to the same point last season, Nightly's A18-49 lead over
ABC is up by 85% while its advantage over
CBS is 8% higher.
