Nightly News continues as the #1 most-watched evening newscast season-to-date in the key demo, and has finished #1 in the key demo 5 out of the last 6 weeks.
The broadcast continues its strong performance in the key demo, growing week-over-week and averaging 1.6 million A25-54 viewers. The broadcast bested ABC WORLD NEWS Tonight by +78,000 viewers (+5%) and CBS EVENING NEWS by 523,000 viewers (+49%).
Last week, Holt interviewed Spike Lee and Ron Stallworth, the black police officer who infiltrated the KKK and inspired Lee's new movie "BLACKkKLANSMAN." Stallworth told Holt that former KKK grand wizard David Duke called him the day before concerned about his portrayal in the film. This week, Holt will sit down with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to talk free speech and making social media a safer place.
