TMZ reports that NBC may be facing FCC fines for its recent Primetime broadcast special of Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour. The show, which aired on July 6th, illicited negative feedback from viewers, including complaints over the singer's stripper costumes, as well as her rolling around in a bed with half-naked men and women and
grinding against a dancer dressed as Abraham Lincoln.

The FCC is currently investigating whether the show violated its code regarding the broadcast of "sexual or excretory activity."

Starring the world-renown recording artist in an unprecedented behind-the-scenes concert special, NBC's two-hour "Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour" focused on Cyrus' concerts from the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain and MEO Arena in Lisbon, Portugal.

Cyrus' most recent album, "Bangerz," was released in October and, like her previous albums, has become a huge hit and is certified platinum. Her single from the album, "Wrecking Ball," reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

"Miley Cyrus: Bangerz Tour" was produced by Done and Dusted and directed by Diane Martel and Russell Thomas. Executive producers are Miley Cyrus, Hamish Hamilton, Ian Stewart, Simon Pizey, Tish Cyrus, Larry Rudolph, Adam Leber, Melissa Ruderman and Bill Sobel.
