NBC News' "Meet the Press with Chuck Todd" (MTP) was the most-watched Sunday show on Nov. 1 in the coveted A25-54 demographic, outperforming the competition by double-digits - ABC's "This Week" by +19% and CBS' "Face the Nation" half-hour by +35%.
This marks MTP's biggest demo lead over
CBS in more than two years (since Jan. 27, 2013) and its 18th demo win over
CBS out of the last 20 head-to-head broadcasts.
Only 78,000 total viewers separated MTP from "Face the Nation," despite
CBS rating for only 30 minutes of its hour-long program. MTP delivered 3.345 million total viewers, compared to CBS' 3.423 million total viewers. This also marks the 15th consecutive win over
ABC in total viewers.
Compared to the same Sunday last year, MTP is up in double-digits across-the-board: +23% in total viewers; +21% in the 25-54 demo; and +21% in the 18-49 demo.
Season-to-date, MTP is posting more growth than any other Sunday show: +29% (+731,000) in total viewers and +26% (+171,000) in the 25-54 demo.
MTP continues to dominate the influential Washington, D.C. market, ranking the #1 most-watched Sunday show every Sunday since March of this year and outperforming its competition in the demo combined.
MTP delivered an additional 1.105 million total viewers and 433,000 25-54 viewers with rebroadcasts on the
NBC network and on MSNBC.
