NBC Is #1 Tuesday Night Among Networks in Key Demo

NBC is #1 Tuesday night in 18-49 with the #1 show of the night in 18-49, "The Voice." For the first time in People Meter history (dating back to 1987), NBC is #1 in 18-49 on each of the first six Tuesdays of the season among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox.

"The Biggest Loser" (1.8/5 in 18-49, 6.0 viewers overall from 8-9 p.m.) finished #2 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. "The Biggest Loser" retained 90% of last week's 2.0 rating in 18-49 and 89% of last week's 6.697 million viewers overall.

"Loser" grew half-hour to half-hour in every key ratings category, -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers -- including a 12% gain in adults 18-49 (to a 1.9 from a 1.7) and a 30% gain in men 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.0).

"The Voice" (3.5/10 in 18-49, 11.4 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night in adults 18-49 and other key measures on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. The two-hour "Knockout Round" "Voice" won the slot in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54. Versus the comparable two-hour "Knockout" round during the prior cycle, last night's "Voice" is currently within 10% in 18-49 rating (3.5 vs. 3.9 on Tuesday, April 30) and within 4% in total viewers (11.421 million vs. 11.836 million).

"The Voice" is #1 in the time period in adults 18-49 and all other key demographics.


In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:

In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.9/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.7/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.4/5). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
